WELCOME
Welcome to the Xi Lambda chapter of Chi Omega at Washington & Lee University! Chi Omega is the largest women’s fraternal organization in the world. Since its founding in 1895, Chi Omegas have worked to fulfill the fraternity’s six purposes: friendship, personal integrity, service to others, academic excellence, community and campus involvement, and career and personal development.
Chi Omega was one of the first three sororities established at W&L in 1989. Over the past two decades, our chapter has initiated over 800 members who are proud to call Xi Lambda home. What makes our house stand out are the girls that fill it. We have a lot to be proud of – from our five sisters who were initiated into Phi Beta Kappa to last years pledge class’s Derby Days victory in the spring – and we don’t have a bad time doing it!
Thank you for taking the time to visit our site. We hope it will give you a glimpse into life as a Chi Omega!
Loyally,
Astrid Pruitt
